Wray Roofing was founded in Newton, Kansas with a clear focus: commercial roofing, done right, with documentation and accountability. We've never tried to be everything to everyone — we've built a company that does commercial and industrial roofing exceptionally well.

Over 50 years, we've grown into a regional commercial roofing operator with two operational hubs, in-house field crews, and manufacturer certifications that allow us to issue factory-backed warranties. We work with school districts, municipalities, industrial facilities, healthcare campuses, and commercial property managers who need a reliable roofing partner — not just a vendor.

1978
Wray Roofing founded in Newton, Kansas by Rick and Kevin Wray — starting with commercial re-roofing projects in Harvey County.
2000s
Expanded crew and equipment capacity to handle larger industrial and institutional projects across Central Kansas.
2011
Achieved manufacturer-certified installer status for leading commercial roofing membrane systems.
2016
Opened Emporia Regional Office to extend commercial roofing coverage into Southeast Kansas.
2020
Launched structured Roof Asset Management program to serve facility managers and multi-site portfolio owners.
2026
Kevin's son Andy has moved into President role. Serving 30+ Kansas counties from two operational hubs — 500+ commercial projects completed.
